Rayman Legends Retold PC Requirements Target 60 FPS Across Four Tiers
Ubisoft has published Rayman Legends Retold PC requirements for 1080p, 1440p and 4K, with every listed tier targeting 60 FPS and requiring an SSD.

Ubisoft has published four PC performance tiers
Ubisoft published the PC system requirements for Rayman Legends Retold on September 23, 2026. The unusual part is not simply the hardware list: all four published tiers target 60 FPS, from the minimum 1080p Low configuration through the 2160p Ultra configuration, while each tier assumes quality-mode upscaling.
The current Ubisoft game page lists Rayman Legends Retold for release on December 3, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, GeForce NOW and Blacknut. That date supersedes Ubisoft’s older June announcement, which originally listed October 1; readers should use the current product page rather than the earlier announcement for launch timing.
| Target | CPU | GPU | RAM / storage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1080p / 60 FPS / Low | Core i3-8100 or Ryzen 3 3100 | GTX 1660 6 GB, RX 5500 XT 4 GB, or Arc A580 8 GB | 8 GB dual-channel / 33 GB SSD |
| 1080p / 60 FPS / High | Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 3600 | Ubisoft page currently prints “RTX 20260S (8GB)”; RX 5700 8 GB or Arc A750 8 GB are also listed | 16 GB dual-channel / 33 GB SSD |
| 1440p / 60 FPS / High | Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 3600 | RTX 3070 8 GB, RX 6750 XT 12 GB, or Arc B850 12 GB | 16 GB dual-channel / 33 GB SSD |
| 2160p / 60 FPS / Ultra | Core i5-9400 or Ryzen 5 3600 | RTX 4080 16 GB or RX 7900 XTX 24 GB | 16 GB dual-channel / 33 GB SSD |
The published targets all assume upscaling
Ubisoft specifies Quality-mode FSR or XeSS for the minimum 1080p tier. The 1080p High and 1440p High tiers list Quality-mode DLSS, FSR or XeSS, while the 4K Ultra tier lists Quality-mode DLSS or FSR. These are therefore not native-resolution performance claims.
That distinction matters when comparing the tiers with another game or deciding whether a listed GPU guarantees the same result with upscaling disabled. Ubisoft has defined the target together with an upscaling mode; removing that part changes the workload and falls outside the published requirement.
Intel Arc configurations carry a ReBAR requirement
Ubisoft adds a footnote that Resizable BAR must be enabled when using Intel GPUs. The Arc A580 appears in the minimum tier, Arc A750 in the 1080p High tier and Arc B850 in the 1440p High tier. No Intel GPU is listed for the 4K Ultra target.
The requirement should not be generalized into a claim that ReBAR is optional for every non-Intel configuration or that enabling it guarantees a particular frame rate. It is simply an explicit condition attached to Ubisoft’s Intel GPU entries.
Every tier requires an SSD and DirectX 12
Storage is consistent across the matrix: Ubisoft lists an SSD with 33 GB of available space and DirectX 12 for every configuration. The minimum tier permits 64-bit Windows 10, while the three higher tiers specify 64-bit Windows 11.
Memory rises from 8 GB at minimum to 16 GB for the higher targets, and Ubisoft explicitly describes the RAM as running in dual-channel mode. Those values are published requirements, not independent evidence that additional memory or a faster SSD cannot affect other aspects of the system.
What the requirements do and do not tell us
The matrix is useful because Ubisoft ties hardware to resolution, preset, frame-rate target and upscaling mode instead of publishing one vague minimum/recommended pair. It also shows a steep GPU jump at the 4K Ultra tier while the CPU recommendation changes comparatively little.
It is still vendor guidance rather than independent benchmark data. The requirements do not establish average versus minimum frame-time behavior, exact image quality, VRAM utilization, shader-compilation behavior or how closely retail performance will match the targets. Those questions require testing the finished PC build rather than extrapolating from the specification sheet.
