Unofficial ForceWare 382.69 Brings NVIDIA Pascal GPUs to Windows XP
A community driver adds Windows XP 32-bit support for many Pascal GPUs, including the GTX 1080 Ti, plus newer DisplayPort and HDMI handling.

Pascal now has an experimental Windows XP driver path
Developer SupraGSX has released ForceWare 382.69, an unofficial NVIDIA graphics driver for 32-bit Windows XP built from NVIDIA's older 368.81 XP driver. The project adds desktop device entries for a broad set of Maxwell and Pascal cards, including the GeForce GTX 1060, 1070, 1070 Ti, 1080 and 1080 Ti, Pascal TITAN models and multiple Quadro P-series cards.
This is a community modification, not an NVIDIA release. The project's own documentation explicitly warns that adding a GPU to the INF is not the same as validating that model on physical hardware, so the compatibility list should not be read as a certification matrix.
The work goes beyond adding PCI device IDs
The project also patches display handling. Its documentation lists DisplayPort HBR2/HBR3 link training and capability detection, HDMI 2.0 identification and SCDC handling, a 594 MHz HDMI ceiling, automatic 8-bit fallback in some link scenarios, restored NVIDIA Control Panel customization and unlocked topology and EDID functions.
Those changes do not establish complete DisplayPort 1.4 feature support. The project specifically separates HBR3 link-rate support from features such as DSC, HDR and MST, which should not be assumed merely because an HBR3-capable link can train.
GTX 1080 Ti testing is more meaningful than the raw support list
Independent coverage reports that the developer has demonstrated rendering on a GTX 1080 Ti, while several other listed devices remain untested or experimental. Tom's Hardware likewise describes the project as bringing Pascal support to XP while cautioning that the modified driver is unofficial and should be approached carefully.
Mobile GPUs and GP108 are excluded by the current project. Users should also remember that a working graphics driver does not solve the broader Windows XP platform problem: modern motherboards, networking devices, storage controllers and other hardware may lack suitable XP drivers.
