Intel's 101.9034 beta targets two new PC games
Intel released Arc Graphics driver 32.0.101.9034 on October 2, 2026 for Arc B-Series and A-Series discrete GPUs and Core Ultra processors with Intel Arc Graphics. The release adds Game On Driver support for Gears of War: E-Day and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.
The package is a beta rather than a WHQL-certified release. That distinction matters for users who do not need launch support for either game: a new beta is evidence of current game enablement, not a reason by itself to replace a stable driver.
| Area | Status | Practical meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Driver | 32.0.101.9034 Beta | Current Intel Arc Windows beta package |
| Gears of War: E-Day | Game On support added | Launch-focused driver support |
| Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve | Game On support added | Launch-focused driver support |
| Supported families | Arc B-Series, Arc A-Series, Core Ultra with Arc Graphics | Coverage spans discrete and integrated Arc hardware |
| Operating systems | Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 family | Intel's download page lists both Windows generations |
Gears of War: E-Day still has Intel-specific known issues
The release does not mean every supported Arc configuration is issue-free in Gears of War: E-Day. Intel's current known-issues list notes lower-than-expected performance in the DirectX 12 game on Arc A-Series graphics and on some Core Ultra platforms with integrated Arc graphics.
That is an important boundary around the Game On label. Driver support means Intel has prepared a release for the title; it does not establish a universal performance uplift, a target frame rate, or equivalent behavior across every Arc generation.
Ace Combat 8 users should keep the beta status in mind
Intel Community reports from Arc B580 users show that crashes can still occur in Ace Combat 8 after installing 32.0.101.9034. Those user reports are useful for identifying a possible unresolved problem, but they are not controlled evidence that every Arc B580 system will crash.
For players affected by a launch-day problem, the practical sequence is to test the official 101.9034 package and keep game patches and later Intel driver releases in view. Core Tech Tips is not treating community workarounds as official fixes.
Who actually has a reason to install 101.9034
The strongest reason to evaluate this beta is straightforward: you are playing Gears of War: E-Day or Ace Combat 8 on supported Intel graphics and want Intel's current game-support branch. Users on stable systems who do not need either game's support have less urgency to move to a beta package.
The release is also a reminder that launch support and launch stability are separate questions. Intel can add a game to its supported driver path while still documenting performance issues or investigating failures that need a later game or driver update.
